Restorations

Some books have been mishandled or simply victims of the elements. In many cases, these books have sentimental value.

We are quite often capable of restoring them to close to what they once were with various approaches and techniques. This work is always done in full collaboration with the owner of the book. We may sometimes consult out of our bindery with specialists to help us achieve the best results.

Repairs

Sometimes, a spine is detached, or missing. Other times, a few torn pages, stains or loose text block can make a book hard to hold and read.

We offer many types of repairs, from touch-ups to full re-bind. Always consulting with the client’s needs, we choose the appropriate actions to take on any book, depending on feasibility.
